AT THE SYDNEY STITCHES & CRAFT SHOW

This was my new stand at the revamped layout, and it worked very well - not as deep, but wider so more quilts could be shown. The Brisbane Show will begin next Thursday March 21st for 4 days - come and say hello!

SYDNEY STITCHES & CRAFT SHOW

After a few problems, our pallet of goods for the first event for the year is on it's way to the venue at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, Rosehill. I'll be on Stand 5 at the revamped layout this year, so I hope you'll come along and say hello, and also see what's new. These two small eye catching quilts will be among them.

 

ILLUMINATION QUILT

Well after many problems and delays in receiving additional fabrics, we have now been able to make up 13 more kits of this stunning quilt, and that will be the final batch. For more details on this and other new quilt kits/fabrics, click on our photos link.

RENAISSANCE QUILT version 2

This is version 2 of the Renaissance quilt, the original fabric was no longer available, so I chose another in a similar style, but much more colourful than the original - I think it works beautifully. The pattern designer Daphne Greig has permitted us to use her pattern our way. The kit is $52 and of course we will mail anywhere at basic postal rates.

"BASKET CASES" MYSTERY QUILTS

Throughout the year "Basket Cases" members do a mystery quilt and by our Christmas meeting they should be completed. Unfortunately Bev broke her wrist and several others had extended holidays.
Deborah has the red, black and white also made a cushion cover with the left overs. Sue with the autumn tones and Gwen with the Monet. They are all the same pattern but colouring certainly makes a difference as with Pat's (brown)  Lee's (green) and Heather's red and black.

FABRIC PANEL UPDATE

Now that the Quilt Fair season has finished, we have been able to bring our pallet stock back to the shop, in particular all of our fat quarters and fabric panels. The panels have been sorted and we have been able to update the PANELS Set on our photo/web site, so check it out by clicking the links on this page (incl. the shop photo). There is a large and varied collection, including the super popular Dragon panel pictured here. You will also see one of the latest quilt kits, Hickory House - keep checking our sites as we expect to have more stock of one of our most popular kits available before Christmas!
